Common questions about SecAI+ Blitz

Yes. CompTIA SecAI+ (CY0-001) launched on February 17, 2026 as the first certification in CompTIA's new Expansion Series. It was developed by over 400 industry subject matter experts and is vendor-neutral. The beta exam ran through October 2025.

CompTIA recommends 3–4 years of IT experience and approximately 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, equivalent to Security+, CySA+, or PenTest+ level knowledge. It's not a formal prerequisite, but the exam assumes this foundation.

Performance-Based Questions are scenario-based items where you must apply knowledge to solve a problem, not just pick from multiple choice. Our course includes PBQ-style practice questions that mirror this format: multi-step scenarios requiring attack identification, tool selection, and control implementation.

SecAI+ is broader in scope but less technically deep than CAISP. SecAI+ covers AI concepts, securing AI, using AI for security, AND governance — all in one exam. CAISP is purely hands-on technical security with a practical 6-hour lab exam. If you want a well-rounded credential, SecAI+. If you want deep offensive/defensive skills, CAISP.
